Step by step guide:
1. Part your hair down the centre or to your preferred part and dampen down your hair.
(Pro tip: use a texturising or volumising spray to dampen your hair to add a longer hold to your curl)
2. Place your silk curling rod over the top of your head and secure it in place with your gold claw clip
3. Starting from your part, take a section of hair and begin to wrap your hair away from your face, picking up a new section of har each time and incorporating it in with the last continue wrapping your hair around the rob as your move down.
(Pro tip: keep your hair as tight to the rod as you can, similar to a scalp braid)
4. Secure the ends with your silk scrunchie. Repeat on the other side. Remove your gold clip and leave the silk rod in your hair for minimum 6 hours. For best results leave in your hair over night and let the magic happen while your sleep.
PRO TIP: to achieve a beach wave look keep the ends of your hair out and secure your scrunchie around the last piece of wrapped hair.
5. Remove the scrunchies from each end and begin to lift up the silk rod from the middle, shaking out with curl while you lift.
6. Rake out curls with your fingers or a comb and style it as desired, now enjoy your new healthier curls!
PRO TIP: turn your hair inside down, using your fingers in circular motions massage scalp to release curl and add extra volume at the roots.

For your your Regal Silk Pillowcase we have additional wash bags available to purchase. Hand washing will ultimately be the best option for your silk pillowcase. The gentler you wash this the better and the longer it will keep its sheen.
Use ph neutral liquid detergent. Silk is a natural fibre and washing in a solution that’s too acidic or alkaline can cause the silk to harden in a single wash. If you can't find a detergent that specifies ph level then just go for one that specifies delicates. Do not use bleach products. Do not use fabric softer.
Cold water wash only. Even just slightly above 30 degrees Celsius or 85 degrees Fahrenheit can change silk dramatically. The safest method if your machine doesn't specify exact heat is either cold or just one level above cold.
Do not tumble dry any of your Almayne products. Silk and high temperatures are not compatible. Air drying silk on a flat surface is best.
Iron only on the lowest heat setting and while the silk is slightly less than dry. Always use a 'press cloth' between the iron and your silk. Never place the heat directly on the silk.
